Ok...well, it looks like my
battery charger has fried/died.
In the spirit of making thing better, I'm on the hunt for a
charger with the following features
- take
power input from 100v/110v/115v/220v/240v AC
shore power connections; bonus point for not having to manually switch to the local
power standard. Additional bonus point for having wide tolerances bands (I'm supposedly on 100v right now, but more typically see 85v to 90v) and not needing to worry about 50hz vs 60hz power.
- isolated power input from solar/wind wither the ability to accept a wide range of DC power (say up to about 50v DC)
- ability to charge several banks each with different batter chemistries
I think I might add an
inverter with similar
shore power input capabilities, but that's another
project.
Anyone have a favorite
battery charger that is a close match for the given requirements?
