Does Camel manufacture LiFePO4? If so, would they make the list?

yes camel does make lifepo4 cells . I that's where I got the cells that makeup my current bank. I would say that yes they are a high quality battery manufacturer .

Re: LiFePO4 Batteries: Discussion Thread for Those Using Them as House Banks
What you will find is that john61ct regurgitates popular "brands" he has read others posting about online. But he does not appear to have any experience sourcing cells from manufacturers today, which is too bad.
The manufacturing techniques and processes have advanced, and there are many smaller ones in China making more efficient cells with high consistency and the capacity overprovisioning we all like. (And by "we", I mean those of us who actually build packs and run them.) For the most part, they do not have the scale (or the demand) to establish a fullf-fledged retail channel in other countries or even to brand them. That may change as the domestic demand decreases and the best-positioned ones seek other markets.

He knows lots of things. And, like the rest of us, there are some things he does not know.
The difference is, most of the rest of us understand when we have reached the limits of our understanding, and we relish the opportunity to learn and debate together in a participatory manner, rather than stomping around Proclaiming Truth.
Neither this specific thread, nor this forum, is the place to deliberate John or any other individual, really. But we have a prolific poster who has a peculiar tendency to overstep his personal expertise, occasionally, and in so doing, it at best dilutes the signal here. At worst, it outright misleads folks.
So, I and others here continue to feel compelled to play hall monitor.

Re: LiFePO4 Batteries: Discussion Thread for Those Using Them as House Banks
Well I just got the reply from ruixu battery.
The cost of the 200ah cells to build a 12 volt bank including all hardware and the BMS is $910 plus $270 shipping for a total of $1180.00. Includes the bms which is not included through Amazon.
And yes they said they said they accept PayPal but charge the PayPal fee to you.
So it is a bit cheaper than via Amazon but you also get the bms which separately costs $100 for the bms for the 100ah bank .

don't know exactly but Amazon reports an estimated month .
My camels took 19 days to reach my shop .
So I would have to say somewhere must under a month.

Re: LiFePO4 Batteries: Discussion Thread for Those Using Them as House Banks
I am a little confused
"also get the bms which separately costs $100 for the bms for the 100ah bank ."?
Thought it was 200ah?

the bms for each bank is included if I were to order direct from the factory but it is an extra coat through Amazon . The only one Amazon lists a price for the bms of is the 100 ah bank. One would then have to assume via extrapolation that the bms for the 200 ah bank to be some where around the $150 - $200 cost range. Contact Amazon if you want to get more specific.
Factory direct is quite a bit cheaper when you factor in the bms .
Why give bezos any more money?
