Ali source for what looks the same

https://antybattery.aliexpress.com/s...chText=lifepo4

Merchant name matches this company

https://rxenergy.m.en.alibaba.com/fe...a277m.main.0.0

but does not seem to actually be made by them.

Is Amazon guarantee strong for "market" third parties?

I've been very happy with eBay + PayPal's, in effect NQAMBG and fast.

Any way to tell where shipping from? Hate to pay postage back to China. . .

Re: LiFePO4 Batteries: Discussion Thread for Those Using Them as House Banks

Again, who do you believe is the manufacturer?

Please post a link?

And if you are talking $1 per Ah still at 12V that would be a huge red flag, to me.

Hope someday you actually buy a pack of your own . Makes testing easier..

Re: LiFePO4 Batteries: Discussion Thread for Those Using Them as House Banks

These look identical to the Sinopoly cells I have installed. The 200Ah cell is bigger than the 100Ah cells I used but I checked the dimensions for the 200Ah on Amazon and then on evlithium and they match.

Oops - I didn't look at the video first. They are Sinopoly. I did a lot of research when I got them and they looked as good and any of the main brands available. I needed the specific case size of the 100Ah cells which is why I went with them.

The prices here are good.

no the $1 per ah is at the cellular level.
So $4 per ah at 12 volt plus the cost of a bms.

Re: LiFePO4 Batteries: Discussion Thread for Those Using Them as House Banks

I could not find a distributor in the US which actually had Sinopoly cells to sell a few years ago when I was looking to buy. They were offered at one of the German LFP distributors but they didn't seem interested in shipping them. I actually discussed shipping direct from Sinopoly but they would only offer them delivered to their shipping dock at their plant so I would be responsible for finding a shipper and freightforwarder and customs broker, etc. I wasn't going to do that so I found a Canadian EV builder who ordered and shipped some to me but it literally took 3 months since they would only order from the factory in full container sizes.

There are shipping issues with them since they are a restricted cargo item and require a special type of container. I would want to know the specific details as to how they would be shipped by the distributor who is selling on Amazon. It may take a long time to get them with lots of possibilities for delays.

Amazon says about 30 days from order to delivery.
When i ordered my camel battery cells it took 3 weeks from order to delivery via air shipping.

Re: LiFePO4 Batteries: Discussion Thread for Those Using Them as House Banks

If these are Sinopoly, then unusually low (too good to be true) pricing from a third party seller IMO likely means sub-par QA rejects, or maybe even second-hand.

Which does not inherently mean poor value, but being well set up for stringent load testing soon after arrival would be critical, and shipping costs of rejected cells a major issue back to China.

I would really want to deal with a NA supplier for that reason.

john you don't need to justify why you don't want to purchase any particular product .
Just don't buy it .
. Amazon is a north American supplier.
Personally I would rather factory direct its a lot cheaper.

Hopefully some day you will buy a set ( of some brand) and post data from actual hands on experience.
