Known full reset

I am just getting into learning about how 12v Batteries really work and I have come across the Known full ?reset .Here is /are my questions
1 how does the monitor loose sight of the full condition if it is set up correctly
2 can i use the voltage on the monitor to assess the batteries/bank or do I need to a separate volt meter at the terminals.
3 I have 5 105 ah batteries in parallel my house bank I that assume I test them all as One unit .
4 if I have a voltage of 14.4 and the monitor says that the charge rate is less than 10.5 amps (2%of 525 ah) that counts as" cruiser full".
