Inverter Alarm Switch OFF?

I have the most annoing problem. My inverter starts screaming every time i plug in my laptop. Checking the battaries is showing well above 12 V. Cable from battarie to inverter is 10gauge.
Anybody knows how to disable the alarm for good?

I had a small inverter that would start humming and buzzing loudly when I plugged in my laptop charger; but would remain silent when I put in other devices which drew more current and my assumption was it had something to do with the charger looking for a pure sine wave and not getting it. Does this alarm only happen with the laptop charger or with other devices with similar draw?

My 5000w inverter does the same thing. I put a filter cap at the damn thing and it dampens the voltage spike so it don't do that anymore. Same Cap my kid uses on his stereo system in his truck to kill the hum.
If that's too much work, cut the wire.
