skipmac, like your bladder explanation , it's exactly what happening
afkasap, in your case charging might take somewhere between 10 - 20 hours,
simply because even smart chargers are voltage controlled and over 13 volts, charging current is much more limited.
Wrong perception: if the battery is relatively charge faster, it is not a good charger or good battery, but it's partially lost its capacity and soon ready to dispose .
/ lost capacity creating higher internal resistance and and full charging voltage is reach much faster, total capacity is much less/

Thank you for your replies. I think I have a much better understanding now about my battery/charger setup and charging times.
