how do i wire to the Armature on my winch motor?

hello i am wiring in a 2 way solenoid to my old winch motor. i have 2 +ve cables wired from the solenoid into the motor as F1 and F2.

the winch body is Earth and i have connected the battery -ve cable to this.

now comes the problem: a cable comes from the solenoid which is -ve and the diagram shows 'A' for 'Armature' . where to connect on the motor?!
