Hello Dirty,
You never got to any specifics of what you are doing with what LED's. Hong Kong is sending out just about any LED lamp you could want, all compatable with 12VDC. Most designers spec out an LED by using the "datasheet" which has all the physical operating parameters for that component. The LED lamps are not components, they are engineered to match fixture sockets and a voltage, usually either 12 or 24 volts.
