hitachi s114 starter terminals

I got something wrong when wiring my yanmar 2gmf, the 12 volt panel is getting power when the battery switch is off. I believe I traced it to the starter harness wiring. The harness key says wire red to "B" and white to "S" yet I cant find any markings on the starter or online. Further I see some conflicting info to make assumptions on in the diagrams I have seen. Can anyone provide info on the starter post terminals or a photo of their 1,2,3 GM starter wiring.

Just realized I may have supposed to be disconnecting the factory red wire between the alternator and starter because I am running the alternator output directly to the house battery. Anyone able to provide some insight? I thought I had this back when we all discussed http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...ng-174963.html
