non starting starter

Get a reasonably good quality digital multimeter and learn how to do voltage drop testing. This is the best method for detecting bad connections an faulty wiring.

I keep my fluke handy at all times, just didn't believe it I just knew it HAD to be in the switch or wiring, DUH.
I had just finished repairing MAJOR wiring failure. I had a short and it cascaded through the entire bundle, included the engine wiring harness.
It let all the magic smoke out of the wires!!!!!!!!!
So I assumed that I had screwed something up during the repair process.
