Help with multiple voltages etc

Over the years I have acquired various pieces of equipment when ever I got a great deal. So that when I finally got my cruising boat I'd be more or less ready. Problem is I now have my boat but I'm 100% novice in solar etc. So I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out how to use what I have (if possible) to create a electrical system.
What I have is:
4 X 150ah batteries
4 X 250 watt solar panels (Open voltage:36V)
A Electric motor that I want to use to compliment my regular outboard its: 48V 2400 watt
The current outboard has a charging circuit but I don't know what it puts out yet (Guessing 12V 8amps).
And of course the boat mainly runs off of 12 volts.
I know I need a PWM still. I do need to keep any further costs at a minimum so I'm hoping what I have will mostly work. Please Help

Re: Help with multiple voltages etc

if your panels are 36v you'll want a MTTP controller. not a pwm. they are better anyways.

as for the motor. you are more or less SOL. unless you want to built a 48v motor bank with another huge battery bank. keeping it charged will be hard if you are using it much.
