Good Deal on T-105's... Maybe?

Well I was ready to go get Sam's club 6v golf cart batteries for 72$ a piece but I decided to call around a little to see what was the best price I could find for Trojans.

Cheapest new in Saint Petersburg Fl was 90$, not bad. But then one vendor told me he could get me "blems" for 70$. These have minor cosmetic imperfections, but function just like new. They are 2008 batteries and are not reconditioned or anything like that. Has the same warrenty as new.

I called around a few more places to see what other peoples opinion on them were and most say that they are just like new ones. Dealers say hey are not always available.

So I hope I got a good deal and won't run into problems in the future.

Has anyone bought these before? any problems?

If your in the market for new Trojans, might be worth calling around for "blems"

I bought Sam"s 6v golf car batteries and they did not hold up very well.

We purchased 4 T-105 "Blems" about 4 years ago from the Trojan dealer in St. Pete for about half the cost of similar umblemished units and they have performed perfectly. The "Blem"ish was in the outer casing and merely cosmetic. While other batteries may be competitive with Trojan's, we have found them uniformly reliable.

FWIW,,,

Thanks svhylyte, it's good to hear a good report from someone with Blems. The minor cosmetic flaws on my batteries are hard to notice.

Thanks
