Galvanic Corrosion

If metal items on a boat are not bonded (grounded), how does galvanic action take place without a closed circuit?

Re: Galvanic Corrosion

Bonding was more common on the wooden boats to keep from eating at the wood around the thruhulls.

GC has been discussed many times here on the CF. Go to the search pull down and type it in. Lots of reading available.
