If you need a fuse kludge outside the US, try an Audi dealer. They use flat stamped "I" shape pieces of fuse metal with one hole in each end for battery direct loads. Basically a stripped down flat version of an ANL fuse. Different size, but of course, that's what nuts and bolts are for. I think up to 130 or 150A rating. The Audi technical term, in their horrid
English, for these is "fuse", nothing special. They don't worry about metal splattering or anything, because there's a thin plastic cover over the battery area.
