Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement motor(new or used) for
my Fourwinds II Wind Generator?

Re: Fourwinds Wind Generator

I tried to contact the firm that used to make them but I think they permanently cut the service to this item. Email nor phonecalls are not being answered/returned. It was already spotty for some time but he moved into the securities business.

I contacted them and they say they are discontinued in favor of the D400 they sell.

Re: Fourwinds Wind Generator

I've got one of the older 4 winds with the brushes...... took it to a generator shop and they rebuilt it.. I would think any generator shop could rebuilt yours or make you up a new one..
there's nothing special about them, just a 12 volt generator.........

Re: Fourwinds Wind Generator

Thanks. What was done to rebuild it. Did they replace the commutator and rewind? What did they charge?
