Boat: So many boats to choose from. Would prefer something that is not an AWB, and that is beachable...

The problem is that in reality lasers aren't that visible. It's not like in the movies... You normally don't see the beams, and only a dot wherever it hits.

Re: Electrified Lifelines(on purpose)

I've only had an uninvited guest on board once. It was a slightly intoxicated swede who on the way back from the bar had gotten on the wrong boat.

There really isn't a single thing I own that is worth dying (or killing) for. To me the only thing that would make sense is:
a) have good locks
b) have something that when triggered turns out all the deck lights.

That should be all one needs really. That and insurance.

Trouble with you Yanks... you all think Hollywood is real...
Result.... Paranoia about.... Zombies, Tramps and Thieves...

Used to be a guy called Murray Roman... did some real funny stuff...
But... as he said... 'You can't beat people up and have them say
"I love you..."
If they did a poll I think for every 1 EU boat broken into... there's 500 US boats done over...
Its a flag thing...

They (the guys in the link) use lasers you can meet in laser levels. These lasers draw a line, not a dot, and it is a line you see on the wall (this thing is all about laser marks on surfaces, not in air). I can guarantee it is perfectly visible, I have a laser level and it works like a charm painting beautiful long red line on the wall even in a daytime. At night, you will see nice red lines going back and forth on the walls of you pilothouse and on the deck. Impossible to not see it, and very impressive unless you know what it is.
