Hi Looking for advise.
We are planning to launch our 43ft steel Dudley Dix boat in the next few months. The boat has a standard electrical system (fridge, freezer, autopilot, GPS, radar etc). Bit confused and received mixed information on which batteries to purchase. Need 2 x start batteries - high cycle (main motor & generator) and 4/6 house batteries - deep cycle. Trying to decide on gell or AGM, everyone has a different story, including the suppliers in South Africa. Anyone who has advise with experiance would be most appreciated.

Re: Dreamaround

Welcome aboard Dreamaround!!

May I suggest that you search this sub-forum for some very, very, very long (as in beating a dead horse looooong) threads on your questions. After reviewing them (see ya in a month...I did mention that the threads are loooooong, didn't I?), come on back with specific questions and you will get plenty of advice!

Hope this helps and doesn't turn you off!!
