Hi my friends

I want to make solar panel 36 cell Each cell ( o.5v , 3.6A)
Total 18v , 3.6A to the solar panel

The question is how much the nominal current of the Bypass diode should I bring with knowing I will put 2 diode in the solar panel Every 18 cell will put 1

Re: Diode current

If I understand your question correctly, any one of the bypass diodes could be required to carry nearly the full current so they should be 4 or 5 amps minimum.
