DC Charger Error Codes

Hey,

Connected to shorepower (2 30V cables) and Fridge quit. Ends up the the DC Charger (Quick SBC NRG 700) is erroring out. Initially w/ err code of 12: "absorption phase too long". Did a hard reset by shutting off power and removing the ground wire for 30 sec. It charged up to around 13.10V then Err'd w/ code 11: "Bulk phase too long". Redid hard reset and still code of 11 after around 1/2 hour.

ideas appreciated!!

Re: DC Charger Error Codes

I presume you have the manual, but, if not:

Re: DC Charger Error Codes

yes, I do, both hard and downloaded. It was stuck on the Bulk charge taking too long (error 12) and now at least is in the absorption stage taking an error 11.

I reset the system (off/on) and all 3 banks have slowly built up charges in the 14.xx range. But I'm wondering if my charger is shot...

Re: DC Charger Error Codes

If its timing out on bulk or absorption after a half hour, definitely something wrong with the charger. I would call the manufacturer

Re: DC Charger Error Codes

john61ct, very good idea! I'd call the manufacturer... but it's a Quick SBC NRG and an italian Co... not very reachable...
