I can get some very good deals on batteries by the way. EG, the retail on the ones I got were $620 each. I got them at trade at $320.

I rung Sue last night and told her so she was off to middle finger work, leaving in a couple of weeks. She's doing Roger's boating course to learn a bit of navigation stuff and we're also off to Wild Foods so will be goofing off around Picton for much of March. Bit of day/overnight sailing before heading to Elaine Bay.
I bought 2 x 200ah 6V Champions as part of a package. I think they worked out at around $230 each but wasn't too concerned as I got some serious prices for other parts of the package. Haven't worked out if I'll factor in the existing house battery yet. Not sure of its size but is farly new. Will no doubt suck out some of your brain cells for the electrical side of things.
