Re: Choosing appliances for an Inverter

Got it all sorted,

I have the pump on a mechanical pressure switch , works great, put a mechanical timer on the outlet that the microwave in on so I just turn it on for 5 minutes and if I forget, it turns the microwave completely off when the time runs out , 14$ fix . Does the trick

Regards

In the USA, the government makes the manufacturer put efficiency labels on appliances so there is some effort to make them more efficient except for the ones sold on price like "dorm" refrigerators.

Most of the suppliers of 12 volt boat appliances try to be pretty efficient.
