Paul,

The best price is from Mayberrys in New Jersey.
Honda Generators - an authorized dealer. Find product information and specifications for Honda Economy generators, Honda Deluxe generators, Honda Industrial generators, Honda Super Quiet generators, Inverter Equipped and Propane models.
I bought mine a few years ago for $850 with free shipping. In Canada they were twice as much!

For US$129.00 I could purchase one a year for a few years!

I understand it's not as good as the Honda, but still only $129.00.

My brother used to work for Harbor Frieght at the home office. He said the company philosophy is basically one use tools, or "a hammer for a woman who wants to hang a picture'.

I have never believed you need to buy the most expensive tool, but I do believe you should try to buy quality. The idea you can buy a new one each year and come out ahead is a false economy in my opinion. Things never fail when it is easiest for you.
