Re: Charger won’t turn off

Myself i like a larger charger. I have a Power max 100A I had a Master Volt 40 But when cruising and being on a mooring ball for a week I needed more power faster. I have 2 AGM type 31 and a type 31 start all gel .
To keep the frig/ freezer going i need more power, i have 2 solar panels 225 W total and that sure helps . Morgan 384

I have three friends who are ABYC Certified Marine Electricians ..... they love all Xantrex products as they are greatly contributing to an earlier retirement

Re: Charger won’t turn off

It is easy to stack multiple chargers to get higher current rates.

And I believe Sterling goes to 120A?

Re: Charger won’t turn off

Thanks for the help. After charging for about 15 hours it finally went to ready mode. I’m assuming the new batteries were not fully charged.

Re: Charger won’t turn off

They rarely are.

Most supply chains just let them sit on the shelf and lose capacity.

Why it's important to check mfg date when purchasing.

Only if you buy 2x60A.
https://sterling-power.com/products/pro-charge-ultra

They look identical to the Pronautic.
