I wonder if I'll be reprimanded for asking too many questions around here
One thing I really don't like about simple chargers for hand-held
equipment is that if you forget to unplug them they can cook your
batteries. Over the years I've ruined one rechargeable spotlight and one
radio battery that way.
What I'd like to have is a timer that you can set for up to 12 hours that will disconnect the
power it controls (12 V and/or 110 V) when the time is up.
Plug the timer into a powered socket (whatever voltage it is designed for) and just have a mechanical settable windup timer that disconnects the output when the time is up.
Anything like that already on the market ?
