Careening Flooded Batteries

I want to careen my boat to paint the bottom but I have flooded batteries. It seems ok when the boat is heeled, but I dont usually heel more than 45 degrees. Are the flooded batteries ok at 60 degrees or more? Is it only a problem if I reach bubbling voltage while careened?
