Just my personal observation. Limited trials, really. Also different makers of LED. I could easly be proven wrong on LED.
The CF bulbs I leave on 24/7 out last the ones switched by 2 or 3 x. This is after multiple years trial.

My package or 100 bright white LRDs from Hong Kong came in the mail today.

I will post as my attempt at a Bebi style anchor light progresses.
