Better-Priced Interior LED Bulbs

Found Led interior bulbs for half the price of marine stores at our local RV store.
14.99 vs 34.99 and they even had different colors as well. could save someone a ton of $$ if refitting your boat.

I came to Hong Kong not to llong ago and have been changing over to 100% LED's.

Met a Canadian here and he gets me great LED's from the factories. He has a business shipping out to the world with better prices and warranties based from a USA business license !!!

They are 9-33 vdc. No transformer needed. So if you have a 12 volt or 24 volt house bank... You only need to think about the "lums" you want !!!!

Let me know if you want to save a bit more and still have a warranty better then the retail store gives !!!!

Happy sailing !!!!

Re: Better-Priced Interior LED Bulbs

Try these out. I'm going to switch all my cabin lights over to G4 9 led. Heard they're just a straight replacement for the halogens in Beneteaus.

G4 LED Bulbs

I don't know about them being direct replacements for the Halogens in your boat but they went directly into the g4 sockets on my boat. My fixtures were made in sweden and the sockets are installed at a slight angle. Because the LEDs are more directional than the halogens I replaced I found it necessary to bend the pins slightly so that the unit sat perfectly horizontal to get an even illumination. This was not a significant issue as I simply inserted the pins and pressed up on the opposite edge. These bulbs are actually brighter than the Halogens I replaced and 12 of them draw about the same power as one halogen. I don't think you can beat the price on G4 replacements. Since I've only had them about 5 weeks I can't speak to their lifespan. The company was very responsive. I ordered them on Monday evening and they arrived on Friday morning in the US mail. Not bad considering they had to cross the border. Given that you're a local I would expect you'll get them even faster.

G4 LED Bulbs

Fitted these to the deck head lights on the 473
Searolf LED G4 Halogen 9SMD
perfect fit, plus they had the bulbs suitable for the small strip lights

Its a shame Ikea won't sell those lights through their website.

I got the warm white. I don't much care for the blueish light of the cool whites. The warm whites are pretty close to the halogens in color, maybe just a bit whiter. They are definitely brighter. I checked for radio interference on the vhf and I didn't have any. I don't have an ssb so I have no information regarding interference in that band.
