Battery Chargers

I have a Sentry Model c120-N, I believe a feroresonant charger and a Rediamp 8 auto battery charger. They both work, but I am not sure if this is the type of charger now being used. My understanding is that the fero type chargers will ruin my batteries. I am presently installing a new engine and the battery charging issue is really not yet relevent. If anyone can give me some advice on the items listed. Are they junk, useable or what?

Thanks in advance for any help

Feroresonant Chargers

Take it to the dumpster. Your batteries will thank you.

Ray,

I posted that a couple of years ago, however, I do appreciate your answer. And I can tell you that is excatly where they are. I have learned much over the past couple of years, much of it here.

Over 30 years ago I worked on a lobster boat in Christmas Cove Maine, are you anywhere near there. Such a pretty area.

Hope you have a safe and happy new year.
