Yes, it would be good to help others not make the same mistakes. Like my mistake of buying utter rubbish batteries and assuming a well designed charging system would somehow keep them running.

batteries can be a problem but if you look around for a ctect charger that regenerate look on utube found best to get long live out and help your system and save you money

If the CTEK is one of the chargers that claims to recondition, regenerate or revitalize old batteries by a pulsating charge that has been proven to not work at all.

Must say you're more likely to kill agm by under charging, especially if you set your regulator to a pre-programmed "agm" setting. For a dock queen, 14.4 absorption, 13.3 float works ok. For a cruising boat, 14.6 absorption, 13.7 float and make sure you stay in absorption at least 3hrs if possible.
