Anyone out there with EFOY Fuel Cell Experience?

EFOY fuel cells have been around awhile, and pretty popular in Europe (made in Germany). Sold at Fisheries Supply in Seattle.
Pretty intriguing in lieu of a generator.
Anyone had any experience?

they work fine. if you want to pay $6000 + $100 a jug for an 8a charger. (about a 125w solar panel)

One forum member has one and as I recall, loves it so far. Use the search function and you can find the discussion about it.

But as noted, not a cheap option for a moderate amount of electricity. If I had deep pockets I would be tempted but with my budget there's a lot cheaper ways to a little more juice on the boat.

I have an efoy for the last 2 seasons. works great. Not inexpensive, but works great..especially at night!

i had another thread from last year trying to sort out my battery problems , in which i took a bit of a beating on the efoy and not using solar. the efoy has had their software upgraded to perform better.
