AMBRI Liquid Metal Batteries

Anyone seen any of the many articles covering this new tech from MIT? They are claiming commercialization will happen in two years. They also claim they will be much cheaper as well as much more effective. Here's hoping!

There is a TED talk on them. They seem to be meant for continuous use, where they are either charging or discharging in order to keep them hot enough to work.

Yes, I understand that they are being designed for use on an industrial scale. Just wondering when or if this tech will trickle down to us...
