If you have two separate battery switches and only one alternator, how is the charging current distributed between the two battery banks? Usually under those circumstances you'll either have a passive diode isolator block or an active battery combiner (e.g. ACR Link or similar).

There are two engines, so each alt is dedicated to a battery bank. I know - old school. It's the original 1998 system.

Well that makes perfect sense. So does each alternator charge it's respective battery ok?
