AirX Wind Gen Blue Blades upgrade Question

Forumites,
I upgrade the AirMarine windgen that came with my P365 this weekend. The blades are phenomenal-much quieter and they spin in much lower wind. Question has come up about the blue blades on older Air marine generators-the older units had a high wind over rev protection that employed "flutter" or blade twist in speeds above 35 MPH or so-that won't work with the blue blades as they are much more rigid. The generator shuts down, of course, when full or nearly full charge is achieved (as I have witnessed this weekend) and the blades stop spinning or slow down significantly-my concern is how to stop it from self destructing in higher winds. I am concerned that I would damage the unit (melt circuit board) or overcharge the batteries. Any suggestions- short of a new wind generator? I also have 240 watts of solar....would really like to be able to leave the windgen unattended....

Tie it off with cord, when not using and before high winds. Loop around one blade and tie into hole in tail.

Pegasusg1X, thanks for the suggestion. Saw the hole in the tail, but hoping for an unattended solution. I thought I saw A kiss regulator that might offer over speed protection in addition to current regulation.
