Re: Adding LED fixtures wiring question?

Well, I ran into the same problems on 1974 C&C 35, two circuits for starboard and port cabin lights. The old lights were protected by two 5A panel mounted fuses. Since the 40+ year old power distribution panel with individual fuses for 25+ switches was all corroded, I just replace the power disti with a new panel and I just merged port and startboard lights into a single circuit with a one 5A circuit breaker.

Then I replaced every single light with a new LED fixtures and i used these:

It has worked great for two seasons and the light is amazing ... and abundant. Unlike before.

My two cents.
