If you upgrade the existing 30A to a 50A/120V you need to upsize the wires from 10awg to 6awg all the way to the panel.

Yep, that's what we did.. It needed replacement anyways. RCI and galvanic isolator as well. SmartPlug plug and receptacle.

I think my post clearly addresses what the OP was desiring, a second full 30 amp service, not a second plug point for convenience.

Perhaps you have misunderstood me, or I misunderstand your post.

It sort of took a turn here, then I thought what a neat idea, cause I carry two 50' cords as it is just to connect sometimes as my connection is at the stern, but I usually bow in and it sure would be nice to have a connection there. I guess that reinforced the turn.
