AC Outlets Malfunctioning

Hello fellow sailors
I have one of the original Cal Cruising 46
While out in catalina island during Easter weekend I had
My 3 kilowatt genset running so I can charge the batteries and use the microwave. I had just used the microwave in the pilothouse when a crew had decided To Warm his coffee. To my surprise the GFCI protected
Outlet had stopped working and the Microwave would not even run. Despite pressing the reset button
On the GCFI reset button and flicking the main AC circuit breaker
Over the master control panel. Then I discovered that all my AC outlets went dead!

After returning to Marina del rey CA I connected the shore power cord and I could only get one of the outlets to work. The one in the aft head

I have professionally installed an MS 3000 Xantrex charger/inverter
2 years ago which is required to run most of the AC outlets
I have never had any problems with AC outlets

My question is. How do I diagnose this problem. Is this serious

Could it have been caused by a defective microwave that perhaps
Requires ampure sinewave electrical soured which I doubt
It my MACE 5501 genset provides

How do I dignose and fix this problem?

If you have only one working outlet and only one ac breaker I would check the working one and the one that is the next down stream. Depending on how well the wiring was done, losing the connection( very common on boats ) which provides the downstream connection to the next recepticle will have you lose everything down stream. That is why the place you start is where you still have power. Some boats use a terminal strip to pigtail the stranded wire to the next recepticle. Some just use the recepticle itself. Look for a loose or disconnected wire. However if you are at all doubtful about working with electricity, call a professional. Your insurance will be void if your boat burns down due to an electrical fault if it is found out that you did your own electrical without knowledge or qualifications.
