8.0 Westerbeke

My gen has a 3 cylinder diesel I have a couple of bad glow plugs. I would like to buy from someone other than Westerbeke does anyone know who manufactured the engine or have a part # ? Thank you

Good chance it's a Mitsubishi, but you'll need to give a lot more info for a more accurate answer.

Model
Etc.....maybe even a picture of the engine

It looked like the engine plate just underneath the fuel shutoff solenoid. I should tell you the manufacturer of the block.

Well I got down in the bilge today to trouble shoot the problem. Glow plugs all checked out good, next checked to see that power was getting to them & it was zip. Ran it down to a bad relay & it looks like a old Ford starter type so should be a easy fix. As far as seeing any name or nbers on the block 20 years ago my eyes may of been up to that but not now even with glasses.
