3-way Guest Battery Switch

Our 34 year old 3-way Guest Battery Switch froze in the Batt 1 position after long operation of the Yanmar 3YM30 Diesel engine. I was able to free it turning it the other way, but the contactors were no longer working right and the panel was powered at unexpected positions. I decided to disconnect the power at the batteries leaving the bilge pumps powered, and get a new 3-way.

Is the Marinco Guest 2110A with Alternator Field Disconnect the appropriate replacement? With 345a momentary and 230a continuous rating?

Actually I think the 2100 with Alternator Field Disconnect is the one, with the same ratings.

Re: 3-way Guest Battery Switch

My understanding is the Blue Sea versions are more robust.

Re: 3-way Guest Battery Switch

Yes, that is correct, John. They have considerably higher ratings. I ended up getting the Guest in hopes that the installation will be easier. Thanks for your response.

A 345a momentary and 230a continuous rating will be fine for your application.
