williams turbojet 385 on davits lagoon 450

Hey there,

I've a question, is it possible to stow a Williams Turbojet 385 (400KG) behind a Lagoon 450? I know the pre-fit davits won't work. So i look for davits wich can be mounted on the deck and can lift the load.

looking forward to hear from you

does anyone have an idea how to get a Williams Turbojet 385 (400KG) behind the Lagoon 450. I've seen a movie where they stowed a 325 (365KG) bud can't find the brand of the Davits. Does anyone have a suggestion for a solid solution on this matter.

Wow, the only Williams Turbojet engine I know of goes on or in a jet airplane. Is that what you are talking about?

that will make boat less balanced. Boat waterline i guess 4 cm down in back and 2cm up in front.

If i decide for something like that would consider reinforcing davits using dyneema and create attachment points on cockpit roof. It is strong & removable & does not introduce too much metal on boat.

Raising it, HUH, get another lift.

Since no one else has responded, I'll suggest that you'll need a bigger mothership to tote one of these. Even the Williams info states these are for yachts 20m+.

An older Avon Seaport 320 Jet would weigh "only" 250 kg and may be more manageable.

They have a two-cycle engine rather than the turbo four-cycle of the Williams and the newer Avons and are, thus, much lighter.

Well we want to go on a circumnavigation and if you leave the Lagoon on a safe spot you will have a large range with this tender. You can easily go 50K from the Lagoon and explore more shallow places or spots where you don't want to come with the 450. That's why Iam looking for a tender like this. Ofcourse the safety with my children driving and playing with the tender is also a big plus. So if it is possible anyhow and I,ve seen a Williams 325 (only 35KG lighter) behind a Lagoon 450 so hopefully it's possible.
