Fully agree on the navigation !

Well, they have in my view nice designs but made to a price (the lowest on earth). They have cheap edge bands that wear fast, the surfaces give a plastic feel, and everything feels too light.

The same is true for recent Lagoon interiors.

I am a fan of the square salon layout of the 400! But I don't like the sharp corners, the plastic-like surface texture and the cheap edge bands that came with the Alpi wood.

But thats not limited to Lagoon. Same for FP which also use something like Alpi.

? strange

I know that the Lagoon edge bands wear fast in charter use but the ALPI panels should be very tough and have good resistance to moisture.

Maybe lots of mildew and very strong detergents?

That idea sounds like trying to whitewash Formica countertops......not doable.

With some proper prep work and good paint, plasticy stuff can be painted though.
