What antifoul ex-factory?

I need to touch up the antifoul on my 2015 450.

I was under tte impression that the new Lagoons were anti-fouled with Micron 77.

However, the antifoul on mine is grey, and I don't think Micron 77 is available in grey.

Help please, or am I just colour blind?

And you can't ask the factory what they used?

It's 2017, maybe time for a bottom job anyway?

Re: What antifoul ex-factory?

Only been in the water 18 months - on the dry now and antifoul seems quite fine except for a few places such ss rudder, waterline and bottom of keels. International claim 24 months on a good preparation, in my case new.

Why spend €2200 for the whole job, vs approx €300 for touch-up to see though 6 months mainly on the move?

Re: What antifoul ex-factory?

Your call of course, but if my boat had 18 months on its bottom paint and happened to be on the hard anyway, I might just do a bottom job prior to launching and be good for two more years.
Depends on your schedule of course, I guess your saying you will be hauled out six months after you launch again?

The big wild card is I have no idea as to the fouling rates down there

Re: What antifoul ex-factory?

Boat is in the Mediterranean, six months sailing Turkey and Greece, then hauling out for 6 months on the dry for winter, when I expect it will need a full antifoul treatment.

Re: What antifoul ex-factory?

I'd try calling Lagoon, I would not be a bit surprised if it's not a color mixed specifically for them, big manufacturer I'm sure if they wanted a special color, they would get it .
But I assume you can have bottom paint "tinted" to match, never heard of, but why couldn't you?

It could Nautix A4 or A3. French brand and they have it in grey. Check whenever it is hard or self polishing and your will know A3 or A4.
