Actually, an L48 (S) would make perfectly sense, also $/€-wise.
Now, there quite a substantial gap between the price of a L45 and a L52, talking in standard prices, of approx. 280.000€.
That's quite a lot... It would be nice if Lagoon could fill in that gap.

I believe they build about 100 450Fs each year. They are at number 500+ this year.

I agree. The L450 is a great boat and is deservably popular, but part of the reason for its success is that there has been less competition in this size sector. Even in the the Lagoon range there are 4 models between 37' and 42', but only one model in the next 10 foot range, the L450.

In the past the 35' to 42' range was most popular, but I think that the new market opportunities will increasingly be in the 43' to 48' size range. People seem to want a bigger cruising boat to carry more luxuries and toys. The competition between new models from many manufacturers will be intense. The L450 has a head start with a proven reputation.

I think you are correct the 48 will be interesting.
