The 380 is no longer listed as a model on the Lagoon site. That would indicate to me that they are no longer making that model. The shortest model in the 2020 product line looks like the 40.

Yep...2019 was the final year of production for the 380.

well, the lagoon 40 has a hull length of 38 feet.

a 38 footer is still in the line up.
(to be fair..it IS ~6 inches longer than the 380)

its just...a lagoon 40 has a much better ring to than than lagoon 38.5

Yes, the Lagoon 380 is not longer part of their production, but my understanding is that they would build them if there was enough demand for volume. I am told that most folks are buying cats for charter in the +40 range.

Attached is the article that was in issue 165 of MultiHull World.

Happy New Year to you all.

there is more to it than that, the price of the 380 compared to the 40, 40 is much higher

the weight is also more for the 40(24,001 lbs) compared to the 380 (13000 lbs).

that is why im surprised the 380 has been removed there is a lot of ppl that are old school and like the 380. for the weight etc...

Re: The 380 not on WebSite Lagoon

Maybe we will see a competitor from Lagoon in the XCS 11 range soon?

Then 380 was in the same price range as the new XCS 11. But in my opinion the XCS11 is by far a more modern and livable boat.

Would be nice to see some movement in a new entry level segment below the L40, Lucia´s and Bali´s... Following the Mahe 36 tradition.
