ssb antenna type and location

Hi all,

I'm going to purchase an icom m802 ssb and install it on my 440. I'm not a fan of the 23' antenna unless this is the best way to go.

I'm wondering what others have done regarding:

1. antenna type
2. Location
3. effectiveness

Thanks

David

When I bought... it had a moonraker run up to the top of the mast 46' high. Haven't had any issues.
