Small vertical tear in Main

I have a small (200mm long) vertical tear in the main - 3rd panel from top and about 300mm from the Leech. Any advice on how to repair this would be appreciated. Any problem in sailing until main is repaired? Or is this a job for a professional?

There was a thread just recently with this very information....

Good tapes can make a very nice temporary repair until a proper one can be done...
