Thanks, Feebs. There doesn't appear to be a reasonably priced option for Yanmar
I've gone to using non-genuine filters and seals
, although sometimes I've had to buy originals in order to correctly match.
Regarding the "collar set" of copper shims; I've read elsewhere that these can be substituted by generic needle thrust bearings. Apparently these needle thrust bearings are available in a wider range of thicknesses, so end play in the SD50 clutch
cone could be more accurately controlled. With the (expensive) Yanmar set, I found one size too loose and the next thicker one, too tight.
