No luck so far, although the new Australian dealer has been onto it for a week. Hopefully he has better 'luck' than our previous dealer! In the mean time, some silicone spray is allowing a smooth opening & closing.

Hi all,

Have received the following reply from a French supplier, suggested on another post.

Hello sir,
It should tell us the dimensions "A" and "C" of your truck with the help of the attached photo.

Cordialement

Re: Roller for the sliding door lagoon470

My door is a bit out of tilt and won't lock but the wheel seems to b maximum adjustment. How the hell does the door come out to check and change them?

Re: Roller for the sliding door lagoon470

Hi Monte,
We removed our door, unnecessary, to adjust it. An Allen key can be inserted near top and bottom of door on the part that contacts the jamb. Turn the Allen key to raise or lower the wheel mechanism. If I remember correctly, there may have been black plastic covers over the access holes to hide them.

On second thoughts, it is probably a good idea to remove the door completely to clean debris that prevents the roller wheel turning. This is what causes it to wear in a flat spot. This allows you to better lubricate as well. We adjusted striker plate on jamb to help lock work smoothly, as well.

In France at the moment and picked up a new (spare) trampoline net in Bordeaux, like the one that Jen delivered to our L400 friends on "Gone Walkabout". Great service. Hope net proves to be as good as original.

Cheers.

Re: Roller for the sliding door lagoon470

Thanks Tuskie. I did try to remove the door once before but gave up after an hour of fiddling around with it. I adjusted the rollers low then lifted the door but I think it still didn't clear the track and cabinet. I'll have another go at it. Currently the lock doesn't work and I have a jerry built repair by raising the track with tape and a skewer. It works but not the most attractive fix...Click image for larger version

Ah, the old "tape and skewer trick"! Necessity, the mother of invention.

Not onboard ATM so can't check or reliably remember, is the top of yours adjusted down? Perhaps that is why you couldn't remove door?

Re: Roller for the sliding door lagoon470

If I recall, to remove door....

Place towel or mat on floor ( door is quite heavy & there is very little head room once you get it out)

Lock open sliding window

Loosen, then lower black stopper at top of door (inside groove - on lock side of door).

On top door track you will notice 3 holes - one for locking sliding window closed, second for locking door closed & third to allow door removal. Open door about 70 mm & slide lock up such it goes into this third hole ( this ensures you have door incorrect position for removal). Now move lock down ( green showing on door lock) then lift door up. Move bottom of door inside cabin & lower onto towel/mat.

Door removed. 😄

To remove sliders you need to lay door on its side & unscrew the non lock side of door & take this section off glass - roller carriages then just slide out - may need a gentle tap.

Hope this helps,

Brett
