I would think that generally, these types of manufacturers go with companies who provide them the best prices for standard packages. Maybe Navico
decided to make a large push into this market and outbid Raymarine
In this case, I can't see this as being nothing but good to run away from Raymarine regardless of pricing. Just look at all the integration nonsense that is going on in other threads regarding RM's stupid Seatalk
B&G is good stuff now. They had problems earlier, but they (Navico) seem to be leading the game
in a lot of areas now.
