More than a little excited!

Just had an offer accepted on a 440 Owners Version.

Holy cow... the adventure is well and truly hotting up.

Shorebird - got it in one Although we might be more apt saying

Off to sea the world...

Honestly I feel like a kid at Christmas, bouncing off the walls that the Mrs said yes and we have got to a point in life where we can do this.

Re: More than a little excited!

Congrats and hope to be joining you soon - verbal offer on a 440, with written offer next couple of days - excited and anxious all in one

New member here - and a 2nd time wannabee - owned a FP Athena 38 10 years ago (sailed with the young kids and had amazing time) and it's taken this long to have everything fall back in place for another go.

Missed a beautiful 380S2 OV, but we're not disappointed if it means we catch a 440. Can't wait to sip those cocktails at anchor with warm breezes (versus the -10F and 2 ft of snow, anything above 32F is warm)

All the best with the survey and stuff.

Re: More than a little excited!

Cheers All

It is nerve racking as lets face it - it is not a small amount of money whichever way you look at it.

Couple with the fact I have a language barrier, French to English

But hey ho should be fun

Re: More than a little excited!

How did the survey go Two Drifters ? Hope all went well and you're in the closing stages.

Our offer on a 440 in the Islands was accepted on Dec 24th, and we're off to do the survey / sea trial in 2 weeks - the excitement is building ! Just hope we're not disappointed.
