Main Traveller up on Hard Top Bimini ?

Since the 380's hard top bimini option is a couple years old now:
has anyone moved the main sheet traveller up?

Guess I'm not the only one dreaming of handling it from the helm position too -- instead of running across cockpit seat cushions, stepping over guests, and best of all: not even seeing results before returning to the helm (have a permanent sun awning spanned from the bimini's rear edge to complicate things even more...).

Any experience would be highly welcome.

PS: Yes, I know this question has been asked a while ago (seemingly noone by then), and yes, I checked Yahoo's Lagoon catowner's group -- no success either.

I'll be watching the replies to your question with great interest mate. I don't think it would be difficult to do. I just need to know if the bimini can withstand the stresses. So like he said. Anyone actually done it?

Anyone end up relocating the traveller to a hardtop or arch?

Re: Main Traveller up on Hard Top Bimini ?

Also would love to know the answer to this. My boat is on the hard now, but I don't recall there being that much clearance. But issue is really about if the hardtop can support the dynamic load. Try asking lagoon?
